We Eat!!

Tasty looking ain't it?
This is no doubt the best char siew pau (Pork-filled bun) in Ipoh. The amount of char siew is so generous and when you take it bite on it... It's heaven!!
Where can you get it? Naa.. not gonna tell you. :P
Okay, okay, I'm kidding. You can get it from Medan Aneka Selera in Ipoh Garden . Where the heck is that? Easy, the landmark is another food court named Woolley. Any locals would know where that is as it has been there since ages. Point Blanc even hanged out there when he was a kid (me too actually). However, its prime time is way over and there aren't much tasty treats sold there actually, unless you feel like visitting an old arcade centre above the food court. Back to Medan Aneka Selera, you could try asking the locals about its Cantonese name too, which is.. Tung Ku Theng (Mushroom Stand). It's due to the fact that when it was new, the tables are all under shades like mushrooms, thus, the name.

The arcade is right above and I think it's still functioning

a.k.a.
Tung Ku Theng
The stall that sells this wonderful char siew pau right at the end of the main stalls. They sell dim sums too, but I'm only recommending their char siew pau and perhaps the lin yong pau cuz the other things.. are just normal I guess. Not sucky, not great, just normal.

Aside from char siew pau, this place has lots of other recommended delicacies to feast upon. They are..

Popiah!!! They are so damn delicious and though it cost a lil' more than others, but it's damn worth it! The baby prawns are so crispy and tasty. It's like every bite you take into the popiah is so...
Among other top notch stall I'd recommend here would be..

They serve Hong Kong Chee Cheong Fun, meaning not the Penang type, not with any fishballs or fu zhuk but just pure fun with their special delicious sauce. Yes, you heard me right. Only fun. That's how great it is, pure fun. Lol. Well of course, there are some char siew or prawn along with it to make it taste even better. Trust me, it's
If there's any of you guys who absolutely adore curry mee like me and Zach does, then you're gonna love the next stall.

I was full, and I can't order any curry mee to show you guys, but their curry is really really great! Undeniable fact that this is the best curry mee stall at night in Ipoh. They serve you with prawns, chicken meat and clams usually. Additional ingredients such as pig skins and fishball could be added to suit your taste buds.
There are quite a few more good stalls here, but it seems pointless for me just to take pictures of the stall w/o the food, cuz I can't eat them all myself if I do >_<
So my advice is, if you happen to be in Ipoh at night, drop by here, for the wide range of delicacies.
Just had Char Siew Pau
