The Past Year

As usual, a lot of people would have lots to say during the last day of the year. Most of us crap about things they did and their plans to usher the new year.

If you ask me what I did for this year, I'd proudly say, I lived and let live.

January was eye opening for me as I was almost scammed, and took part in a drama of Emily of Emerald Hills in college.

Ahhh, sweet memories of the past. From left to right, standing - Shalyn, Khanusha, Jennifer, DJ. Seated - Karen, Kenson, Christine, Vivien and God-I-hate-the-drama-for-making-me-dress-like-this

I met Relax on February and I am glad I did know him. Not a big time blogger, but rather a very insightful blogger. My webcam broke down which I never replace till today. Among the very last photo I had with my webcam is the one below.

OMG!!!!

March was a month full of entertainment for me as I stumbled upon funny dubbed versions of various cartoons and MadTV. Memoirs of a Geisha took a turn and so did Gilmore Girls. I also had my first SEO experience when I posted the lyrics of Ipoh Mali by Point Blanc. The SEO lasted a few months before some renowned lyrics site took over. Damn!

Point Blanc's album. Mind you, I bought the original CD. Yeah!

April was where my obsession with Magic deepened when I made myself into a card. Attended a leadership camp by TARC which was a lil' pointless, did a write up on how I lost 40kgs in 6 months and also started going heavy on writing paid post.

It was me. No kidding

May was the month my site obtained PR3. Yeah! More paid post. Bung Mokhtar gave the biggest sexist remark in Malaysia and I celebrated my birthday in Penang with bloggers!

June is big. Seriously, lots of things happen. For instance, I was hospitalized for dengue. Then, my PC broke down, how wonderful. Next, I decided to go for the audition of StarCeleb, my first ever reality TV show participation. And eventually, I took my first studio photos too.

I know I look good, dun ogle

July was good news. I had a positive outcome for my audition, which means I was gonna be on National TV. The first stage was set at The Curve and next One Utama. Lots of merchants were involved to give various shopping benefits to consumers. It's not bad at all, seriously. For the first time in my life, I was pampered with free hairstyling and make-ups. Can't say I didn't enjoy it.

A lil' make up for TV appearance is important. But definitely not everyday, at least for guys.

August was all plain waiting as the reality show made us wait for almost 1 month to know the result of the Top60 to Top24. More pictures of the roadshows however were posted here and here. I also found Boobs Bath.

It's a fake, okay? No porno material in my blog. Don't worry

September is the month I hit National TV. The contestants of StarCeleb were even forced to club for free at BED. After that, we were all peeing out pants wet waiting for the result of who were advancing to the next stage. The nation was also at grief for the brutal rape and murder case of Nurin Jazimin.

May her soul rest in peace.
Picture from The Star

The Top24 of StarCeleb was announced in October and I was in the list. Courtesy of the winner of StarCeleb, Minli uploading the video she recorded herself, I was able to bring a few episodes to my blog for my readers to read. Being in the Top24 literally meant more tasks and assignments, but we still look good while doing it. It was also the start of my last semester in my current studies. I also experience Chilis for the first time.

We all look good, I know

November was really hectic. A lot happened. I was eliminated from StarCeleb but I was still featured in a magazine. BERSIH and HINDRAF came to light to protest. Had a new addition to the house, a Baby! Worked for the first time in my life in a warehouse sale. Started uploading comics to increase blog traffic and expressed my dissatisfaction over StarCeleb's production team.

Shaz was there for the warehouse sale to grab some Biotherm products. Everything was at 50% off!

I changed my blog's layout in December. I was also involved in producing an underwater-themed magazine for assignment. Started going serious in Magic Online where I specialized in Lorwyn Block Constructed Format. Decided to do some SEO for the upcoming expansion of Magic The Gathering, Morningtide and so far so good. Been relaxing to rest up after tonnes of assignments in the past.

One of the sections in my magazine harped about Puffer Fish.

I am proud of what I did last year. What about you?

Men's Health

I am not talking about the magazine, I am talking about the issue in general. Surely you got to admit that us guys need to take care of our health too. Regardless of age, we always want to stay in shape, look our best and perform the best. That is where gym and grooming come into play.

Let's explore an issue which might be taboo but necessary to us men. What about our sexual performances? Of course, most of us would proudly say that we're as strong as a bull. But someone might be lying and deep inside, he needs help. The number of erectile dysfunction cases in the world is rising and it is undeniable that most men would someday need the help of viagra to perform.

However, there aren't many information available for common folks to analyze before purchase since the issue is taboo and most buyers just want to get it done quickly to avoid the embarrassment. Well, this is no longer the issue today if you're really into helping yourself. For instances, check out this site and get lots of information. This way, your privacy is not threaten and you can have more information about the product you're about to purchase.

46

Ever wonder about those horsetail whisk that Taoist carry? I do, and apparently Wukong too.

Subliminal Power

What if I tell you, you're able to master your fears within minutes. Achieve great self esteem within and be able to solve the math question you thought you'd never able to?

It is all possible if you are willing to accept the power of subliminal messages. It is for your self improvement, be it to overcome fears or to improve memory. You are having doubts? I was, till I read and gathered more information about it. Apparently you can get subliminal CDs for a minimum fee where you'll be able to truly bring your inner potential to surface.

This is the very software that Olympic Medalist, US Army and Microsoft tried to ban from going public because it is not supposed to be shared openly. It is able to motivate athletes to perform their best, the army to be courageous and apparently Microsoft employee to be more efficient in work (the last one was an assumption).

If I am you, I would check out such details in their website for thorough understanding. After all, it is not credible if I speak for them alone without their proper introduction to you at www.subliminal-power.com . Click and find out more about them.

Can't Sleep?

There are a lot of instances in my life when I do think I have insomnia. I had trouble sleeping especially if there are events or things bothering me. Things like examination results and major chapters in my life usually cause disturbance to my sleep.

I found out that I am no the only one. All across the globe there are a lot of people who have trouble sleeping at few instances of their lives. If any of us have insufficient sleep, trust me, our productivity rate goes down. It is very noticeable and can't be avoided.

Thus how do we cure it? By seeking help of cause. Seeking insomnia cure could be a long journey. But lucky for you guys who happen to be reading this post, I stumble upon a CD at www.sleep-deprivation-cd.com which would most likely help anyone with problem sleeping at night.

If you don't trust my words, just hop on over to their site to check out the information yourself. Nothing beats your own judgment.

Monkey Transformation

Let's see how Immortal teachings differ from our regular education. One thing I'm very sure off, there's no discrimination of races in terms of opportunity there seeing that a monkey can get in unlike some country in Southeast Asia.

43

Next, Wu Kong undergoes a transformation training. Behold.

44

Till next for more Immortal lessons for Wu Kong.

I Want That Site!

Have you ever come across certain websites that you feel like you want it?

I mean of course, not ownership of the domain. I am referring to the site's content be it image, graphical designs, musics and videos altogether. I personally am a fan of Kennysia's blog and there are a few instances that made me thought of saving every single picture he posted up. Most of his pictures are good and humorous if you ask me.

Now going through the hassle of right clicking and saving each picture found in a domain would require a lot of time. Why waste time when you can get a copy website just by having the right software? That's right. You can actually download a website. No kidding.

Just click www.web-site-downloader.com now and see the features for yourself. Nothing beats your own judgment ain't it?

Monkey Study

Sun Wukong is studying the arts of Immortality. Lectures, as always. Sex is the key for humor in the following strip.

41

And despite our mother telling us to ask permission from the teacher if we want to go to the toilet, Wukong keeps it silent.

Place Your Bets The Whole Year Round

That's right. Gaming has never been so convenient. There ain't a day you can't game. Be it Christmas or New Year, it is still on!

You're asking how? Why, you got to be kidding me if you haven't heard of online betting in the Internet. If you haven't heard of online casinos and bets, I bet you're going to be skeptical how it works and fear towards fraud and scams too.

Well, there are fraud and scam sites out there trying to get to you, but you can always check the reliability of the site by googling it and asking opinions from other gamers before hand. If you're worried about your information being passed around, take a note at the address of the site which you login in to, is it http or https? If it is the later then you're safe as the information you provide or gave is secured and will not be intercepted by third parties.

Once you get that part, I am assure you'll be much more willing to place bets online. But there are so many online casinos, which one should you go? Bet365 as the name suggest offers great betting facilities which include betting on major sports, various casino games and a dedicated poker playing area. It is amazing how they branch out into so many genres if you ask me. If you do not believe me, click the link and see for yourself.

Tips to be Romantic

Sick of your wife saying that you're like a log of wood, unromantic at all? Worry no more. They asking about where's your passion which you had when you were chasing after them? That's the problem, there was passion before marriage because they're not as noisy as they after marriage. But let's just buck it up a little for them, shall we?

Here's a few steps on how romance works with your wife.

Firstly, walking is part of human lives. We walk all the time. So why not walk with her? At the park, around the neighborhood. This would make her concentrate on walking rather than yapping for good. If she's able to multi task, consider jogging with her. I bet she won't be complaining that you're not spending time with her this way.

Next, tell her that you want to be romantic with her. Let her know your intention. She'd appreciate you better this way and perhaps nag you less. Everyone wants to know that they're being appreciated and love even your wife. Try out ideas from various sources.

Let's go conventional shall we? Forget about emails we have these days. I'm talking about writing love letters. Write one for her. You know how much they appreciate outdated things like themselves. If you have hideous handwriting, hire a friend to write for you. And make sure you read it out to her during your romantic moment like walking on the beach. Tell her something that like 'I am missing you', 'I love you' and similar stuff like that.

You should probably check out this site for more information.

I on the other hand, is romantic enough. At least that's what my dearest said to me.

Sun Wukong Arrives

He's at the Immortal Island at last! Here he would learn the secrets of longevity and of course, his awesome combat tricks.

But how did he get there?

And apparently everyone has to sit for examinations...

I'm making one complete post about spoilers for Morningtide, the new expansion for Magic the Gathering Trading Card Games. Of course, I don't have all the spoiler now, but everytime I get my hands on them, I'll just update here.

So if you're looking for Morningtide preview cards, you can find them all here.

I've also decided to revamp the layout of the cards I preview. From now on, all the updates will be posted on top with the names of cards added. I have also put all the cards into their respective categories of colors, lands, artifacts and multi-colored. Their order in their respective category would be from those with pictures, followed by those without pictures, in alphabetical order.

White (28/28)

Indomitable Ancients is/are definitely fat ass(es). You thought Kami of Old Stone has a big butt, wait till you see him/them. Lol.

Kinsbaile Borderguard definitely belongs to Kithkin decks. Unless you have half your deck with those Hobbits in Limited Games, don't play him.

Meadowboon is definitely a bomb for white. Surely it's no removal but it is capable of making all your guys bigger. Heck, I would even splash white just for its evoke ability.

As we've already know, white is getting way too sneaky these days with putting tokens into play attacking with Militia's Pride which means it's even faster than haste! Now, with this card, it's not only 1/1 token we're dealing with. We're dealing with the best soldiers of all time. If you're looking at Standard, the Field Marshal is definitely a dude to watch out for. Even in Lorwyn, most Kithkin's are soldiers on their own and a few faeries and merfolk are there too. It's not too difficult for these color to mix and this rare is definitely going to be highly drafted in limited format.

Oh wait, did I forget that changelings are soldiers as well? Silly me. Just drop the bloody Changeling Titan into attacking mode with Preeminent Captain for Godsake. When you thought haste is too much, this guy breaks the speed of light.

Stonehewer Giant is great! 5 mana for 4/4 vigilance! Swing him and use his ability! Get Whispersilk Cloak, quick! Lol. Definitely a great rare if you have the proper equipments in your deck.

Seriously, Stonybrook Schoolmaster is only a half decent card, and that is only in Limited games where you have lots of Merfolk combo to utilize.

Look at Wandering Graybeard. It is both a Giant and a Wizard. Thus, as long as the card you reveal is either one, then you get to gain life. Furthermore, 5 mana for a 4/4 in white is still okay if you ask me. Decent card.

Ballyrush Banneret 1W
Creature - Kithkin Soldier Common
Kithkin spells and Soldier spells you play cost 1 less to play.
P/T = 2/1

A 2/1 for 2 mana in white seems bad. But then again, it is a discount voucher for Soldiers and Kithkin. That makes Ballyrush Banneret worthwhile.

Battletide Alchemist 3WW
Creature - Kithkin Cleric Rare
If a source would deal damage to a player, you may prevent X of that damage, where X is the number of Clerics you control.
P/T = 3/4

A 5 mana for 3/4 with such abilities ain't bad from 1 look. On the other hand, Battletide Alchemist is definitely not going to make it into most Limited Decks due to the lack of cleric here. Similar case for the Assassin and Druid rares.

Burrenton Bombardier 2W
Creature - Kithkin Soldier Common
Flying
Reinforce 2 - 2W
P/T = 2/2

Burrenton Bombardier is a Wild Griffin and can be used to pump other creatures bigger. That makes him quite a solid card for White. I barely see anything crappy in White!
Burrenton Shield-Bearers 4W
Creature - Kithkin Soldier Common
Whenever Burrenton Shield-Bearers attacks, target creature gets +0/+3 until end of turn.
P/T = 3/3

A very weak card for white. If you must have something in your 5 drop, then play Burrenton Shield-Bearers. Or else, don't.

Cenn's Tactician W
Creature - Kithkin Soldier Common
W, T: Put a +1/+1 counter on target Soldier creature.
Each creature you control with a +1/+1 counter on it can block an additional creature.
P/T = 1/1

A great common for 1 mana cost in white, Heck, it can even pump himself larger every turn! Cenn's Tactician is no doubt a great common and would be included in most limited decks.

Changeling Sentinel 3W
Creature - Shapeshifter Common
Changeling
Vigilance
P/T = 3/2

This is one of the more mediocre changelings I've ever seen especially in white. 4 mana for 3/2 vigilance just makes it really average compared to other creatures we have in white. Perhaps the fact that it is a changeling would make tribal works better but other than that, it is just average.

Coordinated Barrage W
Instant Common
Choose a creature type. Coordinated Barrage deals damage to target attacking or blocking creature equal to the number of permanents of that type.

Wow, Coordinated Barrage is not a bad card for a single white mana. Definitely usable in Limited Games.

Daily Regimen W
Enchantment - Aura Uncommon
Enchant creature
1W - Put a +1/+1 counter on enchanted creature.

As I've said, I've yet to remember seeing any crappy White cards. Daily Regimen allows you to pump your creature every turn providing you have the mana. Not necessary usable all the time, but definitely worthy.

Feudkiller's Verdict 4WW
Tribal Sorcery - Giant Rare
You gain 10 life. Then if you have more life than an opponent, put a 5/5 white Giant Warrior creature token into play.

The moment I saw this card, my jaw dropped. OMG! Feudkiller's Verdict is such a bomb in Limited! Anyone doing white would grin so wide, his teeth might drop. Lol. Life gain for 10! And that would very likely to make your life higher than your opponent which means a 5/5 giant for you. 6 mana for a 5/5 and 10 life? Count me in!

Forfend 1W
Instant Uncommon
Prevent all damage that would be dealt to creatures this turn.

Forfend is not Holy Day since you can't prevent damage to yourself. A really conditional card. Could be helpful against Thundercloud Shaman.

Graceful Reprieve 1W
Instant Uncommon
When target creature is put into a graveyard this turn, return that card to play under its owner's control.

Now this card is real good if you ask me. It's better than regeneration and certainly is cool. Wrath of God? Just Graceful Reprieve it.

Idyllic Tutor 2W
Sorcery Rare
Search your library for an Enchantment card, reveal it, then put it into your hand. Then shuffle your library.

Idyllic Tutor is obviously a combo card. In this set, no doubt, the most common target for this card would be Oblivion Ring or the new Cream of the Crop.

Kinsbaile Cavalier 3W
Creature - Kithkin Knight Rare
Knight creatures you control have double strike.
P/T = 2/2

Great Rare for Knights! Absolutely cool card. Definitely worth playing him even though you don't have many knights in your deck. Might inspire a Knight deck after Morningtide release.

Kithkin Zephyrnaut 2W
Creature - Kithkin Soldier Common
Kinship - At the beginning of your upkeep, you may look at the top card of your library. If it shares a creature type with Kithkin Zephyrnaut, you may reveal it. If you do, Kithkin Zephyrnaut gets +2/+2 and gains flying and vigilance until end of turn.
P/T = 2/2

Cool card! Kithkin Zephyrnaut is a 3 mana for a potential 4/4 flier with vigilance! Definitely cool!

Mosquito Guard W
Creature - Kithkin Soldier Common
First Strike
Reinforce 1 - 1W( 1W, Discard this card: Put a +1/+1 counter on target creature.)
P/T = 1/1

A real good deal for 1 mana white cards. Unlike Tundra Wolves where if you draw it during the late game, it does little against heavyweight creatures, you can actually use this card to boost your average critters to make them bigger. Cool, huh? I like it!

Order of Golden Cricket 1W
Creature - Kithkin Knight Common
Whenever Order of the Golden Cricket attacks, you may pay W. If you do, it gains flying until end of turn.
P/T = 2/2

Order of Golden Cricket is another great white card! 2 mana for 2/2 an the ability to gain flying!!! I am intrigued looking at these kithkins!
Redeem the Lost 1W
Instant Uncommon
Target creature you control gains protection from the color of your choice until end of turn. Clash with an opponent. If you win, return Redeem the Lost to its owner's hand.

Not really a bad card since protection could save your vital creature from tricks and combat. But I do think it has limited potential. Not exactly my kind of card actually. Sorry Redeem the Lost.

Reveillark 4W
Creature - Elemental Rare
Flying
When Reveillark leaves play, return up to two target creature cards with power 2 or less from your graveyard to play.
Evoke 5W
P/T = 4/3

Reveillark is a 5 mana for 4/3 flier. It's definitely good. When it leaves play, it is even better, you can return 2 creature cards to play! Not your hand, but to play!!! Incredible!

Shinewend 1W
Creature - Elemental Common
Flying
Shinewend comes into play with a +1/+1 counter on it.
1W, Remove a +1/+1 counter from Shinewend: Destroy target enchantment.
P/T = 0/0

A very handy creature with evasion. Would see play in white decks during Limited.

Swell of Courage 3WW
Instant Uncommon
Creatures you control get +2/+2 until end of turn.
Reinforce X - XWW (XWW, Discard this card: Put X +1/+1 counters on target creature.)

Superb uncommon. You can pump your creature with Reinforce or give them double Warrior's Honor. I will snatch Swell of Courage up if I'm heavy on white for limited!

Weight of Conscience 1W

Enchantment - Aura Common
Enchant Creature
Enchanted Creature can't attack.
Tap two untapped creatures you control that share a creature type: Remove enchanted creature from the game.

It is definitely not Pacifism, but then again, it has the ability to make enchanted creature go away. Might come in handy for creatures with nasty abilities such as Kinship. Would definitely see a lot of play in Limited.

Blue (28/28)

Wow, imagine the cards you can draw with Distant Melody if you're going Merfolk in Lorwyn, with Summon the School. Okay, the card's usage is limited, but it's pretty decent.

Latchkey Faerie is the earliest card with Prowl ever spoiled. That just show that the class Rogue is really tricky. People might consider blocking all your faeries, rogues and goblins from now on with this ability around. Surely Latchkey Faerie is no bomb, but 4 mana for a 3/1 flier and draw a card is pretty decent. If you can play it for its prowl cost, even better. Will definitely see play in Limited Games.

Wonderful rare in Limited. Imagine drawing this late game. It would definitely help a lot. In terms of Constructed, I seriously don't think it would work so well.

Sage of Fable is a Merfolk Wizard who goes around giving love to all the wizzies. Harry Potter can say hurray to him! Make way for Sage of Fables. He's even better as he can take away his love and draw cards too. Awesome.

Now we have a blue champion elemental. First time for Blue Elementals to have a champion, and mind you, he is is big and fat. It can even fly. Feast your eyes on Supreme Exemplar!! The mana cost is a lil' drawback, but look at it's power and toughness for that deal! Definitely a bomb in Limited if you have sufficient elementals in your deck.

3 mana for 3/1 flash is a great deal! Add to the ability, I think this card is strong and solid. But in terms of Constructed... it think Vendilion Clique has a limited potential.

Declaration of Naught UU
Enchantment Rare
As Declaration of Naught comes into play, name a card.
U: Counter target spell with the same name as the chosen card.

Wow! This is definitely a good card. It is not as great as Meddling Mage, but still good. This is perhaps one of the few cards I've seen so far to actually be a potential money rare. How good is it, I could not predict, but expect to see this one's price shooting up.

Dewdrop Spy 1UU
Creature - Faerie Rogue Common
Flash
Flying
When Dewdrop Spy comes into play, look at the top card of target player's library.
P/T = 2/2

3 mana for 2/2 flier is a superb bargain! Top up with the ability of Flash and peeking at the top card of most likely your opponent's library then it's a great deal! Dewdrop Spy is definitely going to be a high pick for Blue drafters.

Disperse 1U
Instant Common
Return target nonland permanent to its owner's hand.

A good common card to make things work in Limited and Block Constructed games. Definitely going to see play in most blue decks.

Fencer Clique 2UU

Creature - Faerie Soldier Common
Flying
U: Put Fencer Clique on top of its owner's library.
P/T = 3/2

An improved Snapping Drake! Definitely a fan favorite for Blue players especially during draft.

Floodchaser 5U
Creature - Elemental Common
Floodchaser comes into play with six +1/+1 counters on it.
Floodchaser can't attack unless defending player controls an Island.
U, Remove a +1/+1 counter from Floodchaser: Target land becomes an Island until end of turn.
P/T = 0/0

Floodchaser is an improved version of Sea Monster. Not only it only requires 1 blue mana, it can even make your opponent's land to become Island so that he can attack. Of course this ability comes in handy for your Merfolk to swim across too. Definitely a good blue common!

Grimoire Thief UU
Creature - Merfolk Rogue Rare
Whenever Grimoire Thief becomes tapped, remove the top three cards of target opponent's library from the game facedown.
You may look at cards removed from the game with Grimoire Thief.
U, Sacrifice Grimoire Thief: Turn all cards removed from the game with Grimoire Thief face up. Counter all spells with those names.
P/T = 2/2

A good rare both in Limited and Constructed. Seeing how milling work wonders in a format which your opponent only have a 40 card library and how wicked Merfolks can be with Springleaf Drum in Lorwyn Block, it is going to be dreadful for anyone to have their decks milled 3 every turn. In Constructed, this card might just inspire a dreadful combo which we might not foreseen. A dark horse definitely.

Ink Dissolver 1U
Creature - Merfolk Wizard Common
Kinship - At the beginning of your upkeep, you may look at the top card of your library. If it shares a creature type with Ink Dissolver you may reveal it. If you do, each opponent puts the top three cards of his or her library into his or her graveyard.
P/T = 2/1

2 mana for 2/1 in blue is normal. The ability Kinship mills your opponents' deck. This card actually do suck unless you have a lot of Merfolks or Wizards in your deck.

Inspired Sprite 3U

Creature - Faerie Wizard Uncommon
Flash
Flying
Whenever you play a Wizard spell, you may untap Inspired Sprite.
T: Draw a card, then discard a card.
P/T = 2/2

Definitely a high pick for Blue players during draft as it's both a 2/2 flier with flash and a Merfolk Looter altogether. Card drawing is powerful despite having to discard. Watch out for him.

Knowledge Exploitation 5UU
Tribal Sorcery - Rogue
Prowl 3U
Search target opponent's library for an instant or sorcery card. You may play this card without paying its mana cost. Then that player shuffles his or her library.

Another borrow-your-bomb card for blue. 7 mana is very high requirement. But despite that, Knowledge Exploitation is usable and will find place in most blue Limited decks. Prowl makes it more tempting for the players to run rogues in it. Not a bad card.

Merrow Witsniper U
Creature - Merfolk Rogue Common
When Merrow Witsniper comes into play, target player puts the top card of his or her library into his or her graveyard.
P/T = 1/1

A regular 1 drop which I am not very interested in. Despite the mill one ability, perhaps rogue players might consider Merrow Witsniper. Other than that, I really don't see anything in it.

Mothdust Changeling U
Creature - Shapeshifter Common
Changeling
Tap an untapped creature you control: Mothdust Changeling gains flying until end of turn.
P/T = 1/1

Mothdust Changeling is an acceptable 1 drop for blue. Being able to gain flying is no doubt swell. Not bad at all for a common.

Negate 1U
Instant Common
Counter target noncreature spell.

A highly welcomed card to Blue's Standard Pool. With Mana Leak gone, we had a lot of trouble in countering pesky spells. Despite its inability to counter creature spells, I bet my ass on it, it will see a lot of play in major Championships.
Nevermaker 3U
Creature - Elemental Uncommon
Flying
When Nevermaker leaves play, put target nonland permanent on top of its owner's library
Evoke 3U
P/T = 2/3

As we can obviously note, most elementals in Morningtide has leave play effect rather than comes into play effect. Nevermore is no doubt a very good card be it for tempo swinging or late game when you desperately need something terrible to bounce off. An excellent card.

Notorious Throng 3U
Tribal Sorcery - Rogue Rare
Prowl 5U
Put into play X black 1/1 Faery Rogue creature tokens with flying into play, where X is the damage dealt to opponents this turn. If the prowl cost was paid, take an extra turn after this one.

Now Notorious Throng is a very interesting and exciting card. 4 mana for most probably 3 extra creatures maybe? Prowl is even greater, of course the mana cost is more expensive, but it is so worth it. Time Walk dude! Really nice card.

Research the Deep 1U
Sorcery Uncommon
Draw a card. Clash with an opponent. If you win, return Research the Deep to its owner's hand.

Seeing that this is a sorcery instead of an instant, I deeply regret that I think this card is really limited in its use. There ain't much instances where you can guarantee the ability to return it to your hand. If it's made an instant, kinship would definitely help.

Sage's Dousing 2U
Tribal Instant - Wizard Uncommon
Counter target spell unless its controller pays 3. If you control a Wizard, draw a card.

Sage's Dousing is a Mana Leak for 3 mana with the ability to draw card if you have a Wizard? If it is 2 mana "Counter target spell unless its controller pays 2" instead, then it would be great! But now.. it seems limited. I really don't think it would make it to Constructed decks unless some professional players make a Wizard combo deck.

Sigil Tracer 1UU
Creature - Merfolk Wizard Rare
U, Tap two untapped Wizards you control: Copy target instant or sorcery spell. You may choose new targets for the spell.
P/T = 2/2

3 mana for 2/2 is really normal and nothing spectacular. Copying instants and sorceries is interesting, however tapping 2 untapped Wizards might prove to be a problem for Constructed usage. Even in Sealed Deck, you might not have sufficient Wizards to utilize it. However, it is definitely going to be fun for draft.

Slithermuse 2UU
Creature - Elemental Rare
When Slithermuse leaves play, choose an opponent. If that player has more cards in hand than you, draw cards equal to the difference.
Evoke 2U
P/T = 3/3

4 mana for a 3/3 flier is great. When he dies, you might get card advantage too. Totally a good card for blue. But it is nothing superb. Might be useful against discard synergy when you draw it as your only card in hand and your opponent has lots of cards in his. Slithermuse is good~

Stonybrook Banneret 1U
Creature - Merfolk Wizard Common
Islandwalk
Merfolk and Wizard spells you play cost 1 less to play.
P/T = 1/1

Wow! Can you believe it? Not only do the Giants have discount voucher, Merfolks and Wizards do too! It even have an Islandwalk ability. Well, not exactly a definite evasion ability, but it's definitely gonna make those peeps with an island annoyed. These babies are gonna be swarming all over the Pre-Release tournaments.

Stream of Unconsciousness U
Tribal Instant - Wizard Common
Target creature gets -4/-0 until end of turn. If you control a Wizard, draw a card.

A pretty average card seeing it's only 1 blue mana compared to its cousin, Bewilder in Time Spiral which was much weaker.

Thieves' Fortune 2U
Tribal Instant - Rogue Common
Prowl U (You may play this card for its prowl cost if you dealt combat damage to a player this turn with a Rogue.)
Look at the top four cards of your library. Put one of them into your hand and the rest on the bottom of your library.

I think this card is good. Despite the high mana cost, but being an instant just made up for that. Choosing the best card out of 4 cards is a great deal what else, with Prowl, it is just great. Definitely an excellent card to the Blue mages in Limited.

Watersprout Weavers 3UU

Creature - Merfolk Wizard Uncommon
Kinship - At the beginning of your upkeep, you may look at the top card of your library. If it shares a creature type with Waterspout Weavers, you may reveal it. If you do, each creature you control gains flying until end of turn.
P/T = 3/3

5 mana for a 3/3 seems bad at first, but since it is blue, let's look at the ability. Watersprout Weavers might give all your creatures flying!!! Whoa! That's a bomb! Definitely a pick for draft if I'm going blue.

Black (28/28)

It is a Goblin and Rogue discount voucher and it has haste! Cool, huh? If you're playing first, I bet it would almost definitely smack your opponent silly for 1 damage seeing that there aren't a lot of 1 mana casting cost creatures worth playing in the set.

Maralen of the Mornsong is a Black Elvish Wizard who won't let anyone draw cards. But then again, search for a specific card from a library, that means it also allow your opponent to search for a removal first to kill off Maralen. Some niffty combo should be devised here to ensure victory. A conditional card that might not see play much.

Mind Shatter is a reverse Mind Spring. Definitely not as powerful as card drawing seeing that drawing this late game does little. Very limited usage..

Moonglove Changeling is no doubt a welcomed addition to anyone in Limited who is playing black. The ability to have Deathtouch is really handy. Will definitely see a lot of play in Limited if you ask me.

Oona's Blackguard is sort of a Rogue Lord ain't he? It is a good uncommon. Imagine having to discard cards being hit by other flying rogues. Reminds me of Hypnotic Specter.

Weirding Shaman is practically a token generator for Goblins. It is definitely a good card if you have goblins in your deck to utilize. Not awfully strong, but good enough to make goblin players put a smile on their face. Might be paired up in Constructed Games with Ib Halfheart, Goblin Tactician, Mogg War Marshal to make even more goblin tokens.

Auntie's Snitch 2B
Creature - Goblin Rogue Rare
Auntie's Snitch can't block.
Prowl 1B
Whenever a Goblin or Rogue you control deals damage to a player, you may return Auntie's Snitch from your graveyard to your hand.
P/T = 3/1

A 3 mana 3/1 that is capable of being returned to hand from graveyard... Interesting. However I do not have much faith in Auntie's Snitch. There are better rares than this.

Bitterblossom 1B
Tribal Enchantment - Faerie Rare
At the beginning of your upkeep, lose 1 life and put a 1/1 black Faerie Rogue creature token with flying into play.

An awesome rare if you ask me. A constant 1/1 flier every turn! Surely the 1 life loss is worth the exchange. Definitely a strong card. Might even make it into Constructed.

Blightsoil Druid 1B
Creature - Elf Druid Common
T, Pay 1 life: Add G to your mana pool.
P/T = 1/2

A so-so common card for black. Reminds me of Elves of Deep Shadow back in Ravnica. If you really need a green source of mana and a creature to fill the curve, then it's acceptable.

Earwig Squad 3BB
Creature - Goblin Rogue Rare
Prowl 2B
When Earwig Squad comes into play, if it's prowl cost was paid, search target opponent's library for 3 cards and remove them from the game. Then that player shuffles his or her library.
P/T = 5/3

5 mana for 5/3 without proper ability sux if you hard cast it out. However, if you do manage to sneak it out with Prowl, then it's really good both in Constructed and Limited. Taking away 3 potential threats from your opponent is great. Not only do you gain knowledge about his deck, you also take them away.

Fendeep Summoner 4B
Creature - Treefolk Shaman Rare
T : Up to two target Swamps become 3/5 Treefolk Warrior creatures in addition to their other types until end of turn.
P/T = 3/5

Fendeep Summoner can make Swamps into Treefolk Warriors! Awesome! It's like double the blocker or attacker! Surely, if you're attacking it's only extra 3 damage, but in terms of blocking, it is great!

Festercreep 1B
Creature - Elemental Common
Festercreep comes into play with a +1/+1 counter on it.
1B, Remove a +1/+1 counter from Festercreep: All other creatures get -1/-1 until end of turn.
P/T = 0/0

I like this guy! For a 2 mana cost creature, he's great when he can bring sadness to all the little guys around him! Great deal!

Final-Sting Faerie 3B
Creature - Faerie Assassin Common
Flying
When Final-Sting Faerie comes into play, destroy target creature that was dealt damage this turn.
P/T = 2/2

I like this guy! He is a flying Orzhov Euthanist! Definitely a high pick for black. Other players would have to think twice to block the smaller attacker with their bigger creatures.

Morsel Theft 2BB
Tribal Sorcery - Rogue Common
Prowl 1B
Target player loses 3 life and you gain 3 life.
If Morsel Theft's prowl cost was paid, draw a card.

Wow! The deal is good even when Prowl is not there. If you manage to pull off Prowl, it is superbly good. A high pick for blacks, especially if there's rogue involved. Note that it's only a rogue prowl, not goblin or faerie.

Nightshade Schemers 4B

Creature - Faerie Wizard Uncommon
Flying
Kinship - At the beginning of your upkeep, look at the top card of your library. If it shares a creature type with Nightshade Schemers, you may reveal it. If you do, each opponent loses 2 life.
P/T = 3/2

A flier with such Power/Toughness at 5 mana with a single Black is definitely worth it. The ability to make opponents lose life is more than welcomed if you're running a lot of Faeries and Wizards (of course, Changelings are counted too). Definitely a conditional card. Players who are heavy into those 2 creature type would love him or those who are desperate for creatures to fill the curve would take him.

Noggin Whack 2BB
Tribal Sorcery - Rogue Uncommon
Prowl 1B (You may play this card for its prowl cost if you dealt combat damage to a player this turn with a Rogue.)
Target player reveal three cards from his or her hand. Choose two of them. That player discards those cards.

I am not a fan favorite of the discard synergy especially if it's 4 mana with 2 black in it. However, if the Prowl did get in somehow, then it's worth the deal. Otherwise, I personally won't recommend it.

Offalsnout 2B
Creature - Elemental Uncommon
Flash
When Offalsnout leaves play, remove target card in a graveyard from the game.
Evoke B
P/T = 2/2

Surprisingly, I don't think that Offalsnout is good in Limited games. Most of the mechanics in the Block doesn't really care about cards in Graveyard. However, I do think this card would be very useful in Constructed, be it Block or Standard due to its evoke ability. Bye bye Mannequin targets, and that would also help make Goyf smaller.

Pack's Disdain 1B
Instant Common
Choose a creature type. Target creature gets -1/-1 until end of turn for each permanent you control of that type.

Pack's Disdain is not a bad card. -1/-1 times the number of a creature type. Could be devastating! A likely pick for black in draft.

Prickly Boggart B
Creature - Goblin Rogue Common
Fear
P/T = 1/1

Another superb 1 mana cost card. Bare in mind that it is a Goblin Rogue! Prowl anyone? Nice Rogue with evasion. I love Prickly Boggart.

Pulling Teeth 1B
Sorcery Common
Clash with an opponent. If you win, target player discards two cards. Otherwise, that player discards a card.

Erm, I am personally not fond of discard synergy. I don't like this card much seriously. I think Pulling Teeth has very limited usage.

Revive the Fallen 1B
Sorcery Uncommon
Return target creature in a graveyard to its owner's hand. Clash with an opponent. If you win, return Revive the Fallen to its owner's hand.

Revive the Fallen is just an average uncommon if you ask me. Returning dead creatures to hand is just so common to Black and adding the clash doesn't spice things up. I'm bored with this card to be frank.

Scarblade Elite BB

Creature - Elf Assassin Rare
T, Remove an Assassin card in your graveyard from the game: Destroy target creature.
P/T = 2/2

Whoa! Creature type - Assassin! I know it's not new, but a card utilizing this particular creature type is! Throughout Magic history, there are very few assassins as far as I remember. The only other Assassins I remember in Standard are Royal Ass, Garza's Ass, Merfolk Ass, Nightshade Ass and Lys Alana Scarblade. Unless they make more Assassins in this set or the future, this card is really limited in its potential to make it anywhere.

Squeaking-Pie Grubfellows 3B

Creature - Goblin Shaman Common
Kinship - At the beginning of your upkeep, you may look at the top card of your library. If it shares a creature type with Squeaking-Pie Grubfellows, you may reveal it. If you do, each opponent discards a card.
P/T = 3/2

4 mana for 3/2 in Black is decent. With the ability at hand, it's definitely gonna see play in Limited games.

Stenchskipper 3B
Creature - Elemental Rare
Flying
At end of turn, if you don’t control a Goblin, sacrifice Stenchskipper.
P/T = 6/5

A bomb! Definitely bomb!!! For 4 mana a 6/5 flier!! You don't even have to sacrifice a Goblin each turn, you only have to have one to have this great bomb with you. He might even make it into Tribal Wars deck with Goblins!

Stinkdrinker Bandit 3B

Creature - Goblin Rogue Uncommon
Prowl 1B
Whenever a Rogue you control attacks and isn't blocked, it gets +2/+1 until end of turn.
P/T = 2/1

For the cost of 4 mana, this card does kinda suck. Unless you're really into Rogue theme, Stinkdrinker Bandit is not a highly recommended card.

Violet Pall 4B

Tribal Instant - Faerie Common
Destroy target nonblack creature.
Put a 1/1 black Faerie Rogue creature token with flying into play.

Despite its cost at 5 mana, I personally think this card is really playable. It is an instant and also gives out a free 1/1 flier. Totally worth the deal. To make things even better, you'll see it a lot in draft and Limited cause it is a common. Bravo!

Warren Weirding 1B
Tribal Sorcery - Goblin Uncommon
Target player sacrifices a creature. If a Goblin is sacrificed this way, that player puts two 1/1 black Goblin Rogue creature tokens into play, and those tokens gain haste until end of turn.

This doesn't look like Cruel Edict, does it? Of course, you can use this to target yourself, definitely either sacrificing either Hornet Harraser or Mudbutton Torchrunner to kill something before swinging with 2 more hasty goblin rogues to perhaps activate Prowl? I don't know. But it's definitely something different to behold.

Weed-pruner Poplar 4B
Creature - Treefolk Assassin Common
At the beginning of your upkeep, target creature other than Weed-pruner Poplar gets -1/-1 until end of turn.
P/T = 3/3

For a black common, I think he is quite good. In Lorwyn, there's a lot of good creatures with 1 toughness. Thus this make Weed-prune Poplar a useful card.

Red (28/28)

As we can already guess, the Morningtide block is about classes. So we're talking about soldiers, shamans, warriors and etc. And remember Future Sight block where they gave out a pretty cool card called, Boldwyr Intimidator? It is in Morningtide.

This would of course, makes all Changelings cowards against Warriors. Hurray!

4 mana for a 3/3 just like Hill Giant. But look, it has Kamahl's ability! Too bad it doesn't have haste. It's definitely a good rare. Lightning Crafter is also good due to the fact you can champion either a goblin or a shaman which makes it very versatile!

Pyroblast Consul is definitely no pushover. He can clear the board full of Kithkins if he is in for the right time. Better watch out for him.

A sort of Shaman 'Lord' if you notice the +1/+1 thingy going on. Definitely a nice addition to anyone who plays Shamans. 1 extra damage when they attack, how cool! But then again, how many Shamans are really capable of surviving an attack on their own would be another question to ponder about.

Now Stomping Slabs is definitely a combo card, which means, you won't usually see it in Limited games. Even in Constructed Games, it's a little difficult to consistently pull off the trick. Suggestive cards to combo would most likely be Liliana Vess, and all the other tutoring cards (if you're into extended, transmute is possible).

Now this is the first time you've ever seen a Changeling creature in Lorwyn (sorry Mistform Ultimus) that has a distinctive outlook rather than a shabby look. A 3 mana for 2/2 in Red is not shabby, and it gets bigger with each spell your opponents play. Taurean Mauler is indeed wonderful!

Another card, Titan's Revenge is confirmed where red players get to direct damage to anything they like. It can even be returned to hand. How cool!

Titan's revenge is a more expensive Blaze but with the ability that might let you reuse it again. I personally would have prefer Blaze, but then again in this format when red's direct damage is so limited, I think it is acceptable. However, it is just not a rare the quality of Molten Disaster or Demonfire.

Boldwyr Heavyweights 2RR
Creature - Giant Warrior Rare
Trample
When Boldwyr Heavyweights comes into play, each opponent may search his or her library for a creature card and put it into play. Then each player who searches his or her library this way shuffles it.
P/T = 8/8

An 8/8 trampler for 4 mana cost, nice! Of course, there's the little drawback there. Definitely not recommended in multiplayer games. But I think if you pair this giant up with a few sleek removal at your hand, he ought to dominate the game for you. A bounce or destroy spell would be great to neutralize the creature he might take out against you.

Borderland Behemoth 5RR
Creature - Giant Warrior Rare
Trample
Borderland Behemoth gets +4/+4 for each other Giant you control.
P/T = 4/4

7 mana might be difficult to reach without proper acceleration cards. Even if you do reach it, he needs other Giants to make him worth the deal. But if that is achieved, it is going to be nasty! 7 mana for 8/8 if there's another giant, 12/12 if there's two! The guy drafting Giants are going grin when he see Borderland Behemoth. Lol.

Brighthearth Banneret 1R
Creature - Elemental Warrior Common
Elemental spells and Warrior spells you play cost 1 less to play.
Reinforce 1 – 1R (1R, Discard this card: Put a +1/+1 counter on target creature)
P/T = 1/1

All discount vouchers are great, and so is Brighthearth Banneret. This one doesn't have a passive ability, but you can use him to pump other creatures in late game. Not bad!

Countryside Crusher 1RR
Creature - Giant Warrior Rare
At the beginning of your upkeep, reveal the top card of your library.
If it’s a land card, put it into your graveyard and repeat this process.
Whenever a land card is put into your graveyard from anywhere, put a +1/+1 counter on Countryside Crusher.
P/T = 3/3

3 mana for 3/3 in red is real good. But the ability might just make you cry for help if you desperately need mana to cast something better than him. A real conditional card. I personally don't fancy him as revealing cards to opponent practically means giving him information about what I run in my deck.

Fire Juggler 2R
Creature - Goblin Shaman Common
Whenever Fire Juggler becomes blocked, clash with an opponent. If you win, Fire Juggler deals 4 damage to each creature blocking it.
P/T = 2/2

It's not an awfully strong card, but it does give out warning to your opponent that "If you use bigger guys to block me, I MIGHT kill it!" Note the word might there. Not exactly a real good card. But 3 mana for 2/2 is just plain decent anyway.

Hostile Realm 2R

Enchantment - Aura Common
Enchant Land.
Enchanted Land has "T : Target creature can't block this turn."

Wow, Hostile Realm can make your land a dedicated half Thundersong Trumpeter. But I still am not impressed. Not going to be used much I guess.

Kindled Fury R
Instant Common
Target creature get +1/+0 and gains first strike until end of turn.

This is what I call combat trick! A single red mana to cast at instant speed. It could change the outcome of what your opponent thought might be worthy trade. Definitely will see play in Limited Games a lot!

Lunk Errant 5R

Creature - Giant Warrior Common
Whenever Lunk Errant attacks alone, it gets +1/+1 and gains trample until end of turn.
P/T = 4/4

Lunk Errant is a giant who likes to act alone and he is rewarded for doing so. However, I would say, at 6 mana, the chances of him surviving combat when he attack alone is slim. Thus I would give an early conclusion that this card is quite a bad card when it comes to 6 drop.

Mudbutton Clanger R
Creature - Goblin Warrior Common
Kinship - At the beginning of your upkeep, you may look at the top card of your library. If it shares a creature type with Mudbutton Clanger, you may reveal it. If you do, Mudbutton Clanger gets +1/+1 until end of turn.
P/T = 1/1

I am not impressed with this card. Even when Kinship is there, the effect is too little to be considered significant. Nope, I still think Mudbutton Clanger is a rather dead card.

Release the Ants 1R
Instant Uncommon
Release the Ants deals 1 damage to target creature or player.
Clash with an opponent. If you win, return Release the Ants to its owner’s hand.

If I am to look at this card without other cards in the set, I'd labeled it pure crap. But seeing how Kinship is strong in the set, this card might just be useful enough to set things going. Kinship of course let you or your opponent see the top card of the library, right after Kinship resolves, play this to your advantage. A good time to play this is when you reveal a 4 mana and above casting cost card or your opponent reveals a land.

Rivals' Duel 3R
Sorcery Uncommon
Choose two target creatures that share no creature types. Each of those creatures deals damage equal to its power to the other.

Rival's Duel is a weaker version of Arena. I personally don't really like this card, but I may have underestimate it.

Roar of the Crowd 3R

Sorcery Common
Choose a creature type. Roar of the Crowd deals damage to target creature or player equal to the number of permanents of the chosen type you control.

I am personally attracted to Roar of the Crowd. Any guesses why? Lorwyn has very little burn spells so far. Thus, Roar of the Crowd could be useful ranging from 1 damage to a lot of damage perhaps, due to Summon the School or from Goblin token generators. Would definitely see play if it is in my card pool.

Seething Pathblazer 2R

Creature - Elemental Warrior Common
Sacrifice an Elemental: Seething Pathblazer gets +2/+0 and gains first strike until end of turn.
P/T = 2/2

A solid 3 mana creature for the Red decks. He even can sacrifice Elementals to make himself better in combat. To top things, most elementals in Morningtide have leave play effects. That means he can utilize this to his advantage. Bravo Seething Pathblazer.

Sensation Gorger 1RR
Creature - Goblin Shaman Rare
Kinship - At the beginning of your upkeep, you may look at the top card of your library. If it shares a creature type with Sensation Gorger you may reveal it.
If you do, each player discards his or her hand and draws four cards.
P/T = 2/2

2/2 for 3 mana is average. But the ability to replenish cards in your hand, especially if you're red, just makes this card a bomb! I don't think that it's going to be that strong in Limited, but I know for sure, control decks would hate facing this guy.

Shard Volley R
Instant Common
As an additional cost to play Shard Volley, sacrifice a land.
Shard Volley deals 3 damage to target creature or player.

Mind you, I would play this card in Limited. It is decent enough. But I don't think having more than 2 of it in your deck is a good idea. Not exactly a crap, just okay.

Shared Animosity 2R
Enchantment Rare
Whenever a creature you control attacks, it gets +1/+0 until the end of turn for each other attacking creature that shares a creature type with it.

Now this card is good in Lorwyn as creature type is the key for Limited Games most of the time. Thus, I bet a lot of people would run this in their Sealed or even Drafts.

Spitebellows 5R
Creature - Elemental Uncommon
When Spitebellows leaves play, it deals 6 damage to target creature.
Evoke 1RR (You may play this spell for its evoke cost. If you do, it's sacrificed when it comes into play.)
P/T = 6/1

A nice uncommon for red. I personally think most people would only evoke him for 6 damage part. Even if he hits board, he's also cool as when he dies, he is bound to take someone with him. 6 damage from Spitebellows can kill almost everything in Lorwyn Block.

Stingie Moogie 3R
Creature - Elemental Common
Stingmoogie comes into play with two +1/+1 counters on it.
3R, Remove a +1/+1 counter from Stingmoogie: Destroy target artifact or land.
P/T = 0/0

4 mana for 2/2 is crap if you ask me. Even with the ability, it is not that worth it. Perhaps a good sideboard card against dangerous lands like Mutavault or those new tribal equipment.

Sunflare Shaman 1R

Creature - Elemental Shaman Common
1R, T : Sunflare Shaman deals X damage to target creature or player, and X damage to itself, where X is equal to the number of Elemental cards in your graveyard.
P/T = 2/1

Not a bad card at all. For 2 mana you get a Goblin Piker that has the capabilities to deal damage to creatures or player if you have elemental cards in your graveyard. It is definitely quite decent.

Vengeful Firebrand 3R

Creature - Elemental Warrior Rare
Vengeful Firebrand has haste as long as a Warrior card is in your graveyard.
R: Vengeful Firebrand gets +1/+0 until end of turn.
P/T = 5/2

Somehow I'm skeptical about Vengeful Firebrand. 5/2 is big, but there's no haste nor trample around. Surely if you have a Warrior card, you can hit for a turn perhaps. But it is really conditional. Hopefully an Obsidian Battle-Axe would be in the same card pool as this.

War-Spike Changeling 3R
Creature - Changeling Common
Changeling
R : War-Spike Changeling gains first Strike until end of turn.
P/T = 3/3

Now this Changeling rocks compared to Changeling Sentinel. 4 mana for 3/3 is good in Red and the ability to gain first strike is just plain awesome! Definitely a high pick for creatures in Red since it interacts with everything.

Green (28/28)

4 mana for 4/4 in green is really decent. With the pumping ability I reckon' Chameleon Colossus be great against most decks. It has protection from black, which means black can't destroy it and if some red guy tries burning him (which is quite the task, 4 toughness), you can just pump him up. Solid is what he is.

Earthbrawn is a more expensive Giant Growth but it also has Reinforce which is an alternative to what it is supposed to do. I personally would have pick +3/+3 most of the time unless I was forced to discard it and there's no particular trick I can do with it, then I'd have reinforce it.

Aside from them, it is confirmed that Elvish Warrior is coming back. It's only a mystery if the artwork would remain the same. In the mean time, here's the previous version of Elvish Warrior of 9th Edition.

This practically means more power for Elves in Constructed games. Grrr!!! When would they give us powerful wizards?!!

Hunting Triad gives you 3 1/1 elf warrior tokens. Not exactly a bad deal. Despite it being a sorcery, I think it is a good card. Works similarly to Marsh Flitter except no flying there. The reinforce is a good deal too, you can even use it as a combat trick. Definitely a highly pick card for Green drafters.

A 4 mana for 3/5 is definitely good! Look! The ability! How wicked sick is Leaf-Crowned Elder! Play it without paying its mana cost! I can't imagine the horror playing against this! Definitely great Green card.

3 mana for a 3/2 seems a little shabby my dear Rhys the Exiled. Even for the life gain and regeneration ability, I do think you're not a really good rare in the set.

We finally have a champion for Treefolk. Surely it's no Changeling Titan, but it ensures every single creature of yours will survive attacking combats most of the time. If Doran is in play, then I bet your opponent would be safer not blocking when Unstoppable Ash is here!

Wolf-Skull Shaman is an elf who train wolves. Well it is not Wren's Run Packmaster, but being a 2/2 for only 2 mana with such abilities does make him impressive. I personally would love to have him if I'm playing Green.

A very decent card once again. Elves and Warriors are aplenty in the set and getting this requirement met is not difficult at all. Expect to see him around in Limited games.

Ambassador Oak 3G

Creature - Treefolk Warrior Common
When Ambassador Oak comes into play, put a 1/1 green Elf Warrior creature token into play.
P/T = 3/3

A great common if you ask me. 4 mana for a total Power/Toughness of 4/4 is great! It's even better that it is only a common! Wow!

Bosk Banneret 1G
Creature - Treefolk Shaman Common
Treefolk spells and Shaman spells you play cost 1 less to play.
P/T = 1/3

Bravo! For a 2 mana creature, even if my deck does not have a lot of Shaman or Treefolk, I will run him to reduce the cost of casting for my Changelings. It is definitely worth the deal of having him around in most decks. Great common!

Bramblewood Paragon 1G
Creature - Elf Warrior Uncommon
Each other Warrior creature you control comes into play with an additional +1/+1 counter. Each creature you control with a +1/+1 counter has trample.
P/T = 2/2

I bet my ass that everyone running Green would have him in the deck. Warriors dude. There's plenty all around. And even at the worst scenario, it's still a 2 mana 2/2 dude. Definitely a great uncommon.

Cream of the Crop 1G
Enchantment Rare
Whenever a creature comes into play under your control, you may look at the top X cards of your library, where X is that creature's power. If you do, put one of those cards on top of your library and the rest on the bottom of your library in any order.

Marvelous rare for Green. After all, Green is mostly about creatures and every creature you play gives you advantage to filter the best card you can have. Not to mention how significant it could help against the clash mechanics too. Cream of the Crop is just so justifiable by its name. Simply wonderful! I strongly believe that this card would fetch some price in the market.

Deglamer 1G
Instant Common
Choose target artifact or enchantment.
Its owner shuffles it into his or her library.

I honestly prefer Naturalize than Deglamer. But then again, we only want to keep it away from play. So it is still good.

Everbark Shaman 4G
Creature - Treefolk Shaman Common
T, Remove a Treefolk card in your graveyard form the game: Search your library for two forest cards and put them into play tapped. Then shuffle your library.
P/T = 3/5

If you don't have much Treefolks to utilize the ability, then this card is quite a bad bargain for Green considering there's so many bigger critters Green can run. However, if you have sufficient Treefolk cards you can utilize, he'd be able to help you thin your library from Forests quite well.

Fertilid 2G
Creature - Elemental Common
Fertilid comes into play with two +1/+1 counters on it.
1G, Remove a +1/+1 counter from Fertilid: Target player searches his or her library for a basic land card and puts it into play tapped. Then that player shuffles his or her library.
P/T = 0/0

I am delighted to see this card as it has the potential to raise your lands from 3 to 5, or 4 to 6! Incredible ain't he? Definitely a high snatch for green players who need the mana boost or the color filter.

Game Trail-Changeling 3GG

Creature - Shapeshifter Common
Changeling
Trample
P/T = 4/4

Finally a normal Changeling. 5 mana for 4/4 trample is really decent. It's not as wicked as Changeling Titan but hey, you don't have to champion it. Pretty cool card which would most likely be picked if you're heavy in Green and need Changelings to fill your creature type tricks.

Gilt-Leaf Archdruid 3GG
Creature - Elf Druid Rare
Whenever you play a Druid spell, you may draw a card.
Tap seven untapped Druids you control: Gain control of all lands target player controls.
P/T = 3/3

Another card similar to the Assassin dude. There aren't a lot of Druids yet. To make this combo actually work, imagine the amount of Changelings you have to throw in. Definitely not a fan favorite here. Even if you are playing Druids, 7 Druids in play. Wow, what a difficult condition to meet.

Greatbow Doyen 4G
Creature - Elf Archer Rare
Other Archer creatures you control get +1/+1.
Whenever an Archer you control deals damage to a creature, that Archer deals that much damage to that creature's controller.
P/T = 2/4

He is not a good archer on his own since he can't even shoot anything. But then again, he holds a tremendous ability for the Archer class at the cost of his own summoning cost which is quite steep. At any rate, I think Greatbow Doyen would definitely inspired more Archer decks to rise up in Standard.

Heritage Druid G
Creature - Elf Druid Uncommon
Tap three untapped Elves you control: Add GGG to your mana pool.
P/T = 1/1

Wow! A great Elf card! This card is going to be a bomb! Remember how crazy Sprout Swarm was due to convoke? With him around, you could practically convoke everything if you have enough elves. But in Lorwyn, these elves are everywhere! Gilt-Leaf Ambush, Hunting Triad. Wow!

Luminescent Rain 2G
Instant Common
Choose a creature type. You gain 2 life for each permanent you control of that type.

Gay card alert! Luminescent Rain is so gay especially in Lorwyn environment. Definitely a high pick if you're into late game.

Lys Alana Bowmaster 2G
Creature - Elf Archer Common
Reach
Whenever you play an Elf spell, you may have Lys Alana Bowmaster deal 2 damage to target creature with flying.
P/T = 2/2

Now this card is definitely a fan favorite in contrast with the previous one. We all know Green hate fliers (since most of Green creatures can't fly for shit). Thus they like shooting them down. In a set where there are a lot of Elves and pesky Faeries flying around, you bet these guys are gonna be a big hit in Limited games. Might have a little trouble getting into Standard, but for Lorwyn Block Constructed, it might see play if the Faeries get way out of hand.

Orchard Warden 4GG
Creature - Treefolk Shaman Uncommon
Whenever another Treefolk creature comes into play under your control, you may gain life equal to that creature’s toughness.
P/T = 4/6

Life gain for Treefolks! And it's not 1 life by 1 life like Judge of Currents. I'm talking about turn 6 Orchard Warden, turn 7 Oakgnarl Warrior! Talk about wickedness! It's okay I guess for Green. Decent uncommon for the Treefolks. I like it.

Reach of Branches 4G
Tribal Instant - Treefolk Rare
Put a 2/5 green Treefolk Shaman token into play under your control.
Whenever a Forest comes into play under your control, you may return Reach of Branches from your graveyard to your hand.

This card is just awesome. When you run Reach of Branches in your deck, you'd most likely have a lot of Forests in your deck. Thus the chances of returning it and generating more Treefolk is very possible. Definitely great advantage.

Recross the Path 2G
Sorcery Uncommon
Reveal cards from the top of your library until you reveal a land card. Put that card into play and the rest on the bottom of your library in any order. Clash with an opponent. If you win, return Recross the Paths into its owner's hand.

A 3 mana land searcher. Not too shabby since the land is put into play untapped. Add in the clash ability and I think it is a solid green card. I like Recross the Path.

Reins of the Vinesteed 3G
Enchantment - Aura Common
Enchant creature
Enchanted creature gets +2/+2.
When enchanted creature is put into a graveyard, you may return Reins of the Vinesteed from your graveyard to play attached to a creature that shares a creature type with that creature.

A tweaked version of Moldervine Cloak. I do think it is a great card for the set. Definitely a high pick for Green players in draft.

Scapeshift 2GG
Sorcery Rare
Sacrifice any number of lands. Search your library for that many land cards, put them into play tapped, then shuffle your library.

Scapeshift is no doubt a good card. Its usage is simple. Find the right color lands for you to utilize, or simply to just thin your deck so you'll draw only spells from that time on. I like it.

Walker of Groove 6GG

Creature - Elemental Uncommon
When Walker of the Grove leaves play, put a 4/4 green Elemental creature token into play.
Evoke 4G
P/T = 7/7

Walker of Groove is fat! But of course, the mana cost is justifiable. Even if you evoke him, the mana cost is reasonable for a 4/4. If you hard cast him, then it is great. Cause when he dies, he goes smaller.

Artifacts (6/6)

Definitely better than the Soldier equipment if you ask me. Haste! This is definitely interesting! All warriors you put into play automatically gets haste. Imagine a Changeling Titan once again. Definitely a 4 star equipment.

Veteran's Armaments is a great equipment for Soldiers. Well, non-Soldier creatures can use it too, but if you're a Soldier, the equipment practically flies to him. I personally see that this card would see play a lot in Limited events.

Cloak and Dagger 2
Tribal Artifact – Rogue Equipment Uncommon
Equipped creature gets +2/+0 and has shroud.
Whenever a Rogue creature comes into play, you may attach Cloak and Dagger to it.
Equip 3

All the tribal equipments are great in my opinion. Shroud just makes it more wonderful. Of course, it is not unblockable like Whispersilk Cloak, but it is still good having those boost of 2 power.

Diviner's Wand 3
Tribal Artifact – Wizard Equipment Uncommon
Equipped creature has "Whenever you draw a card, this creature gets +1/+1 and gains flying until end of turn" and "4: Draw a card."
Whenever a Wizard creature comes into play, you may attach Diviner's Wand to it.
Equip 3

Now this is an equipment I'm stunned to look at. Free flying and able to draw card? Simply astonishing! I look forward in cracking this equipment in my Pre-release and pray that I have sufficient wizards to pull it off.

Door of Destinies 4
Artifact Rare
As Door of Destinies comes into play, choose a creature type.
Whenever you play a spell of that type, put a charge counter on Door of Destinies.
Creatures you control of that type get +1/+1 for each charge counter on Door of Destinies.

Door of Destinies seems a lil' conditional compared to Coat of Arms. But it should work in the Block real great seeing how heavy is creature type affecting the game play.

Thornbite Staff 2
Tribal Artifact - Shaman Equipment Uncommon
Equipped creature has "2, T : This creature deals 1 damage to target creature or player." and "Whenever a creature is put into a graveyard from play, untap this creature."
Whenever a Shaman creature comes into play, you may attach Thornbite Staff to it.
Equip 4

I have to say, among all the class artifacts, I dislike Thornbite Staff the most. Surely it is cheap to cast, but the equip cost is so high and so is the activation of the ability. I really hate to say it, but I think it is crap unless you are using it during late game when you have lots of mana available.

Lands (4/4)

At one sight you might have thought Cave of Koilos is better, but look again, it is a Forest! That means Wood Elves can fetch him out and so does Yavimaya Dryad! I was personally praying that the Treefolk land could produce 3 different color of mana, but I knew it was too good to be true. This is good enough, I guess.

Updated on 7th of January
Wow! It does produce 3 different color mana! I bet this would definitely make it a money rare which I speculate is higher than Declaration of Naught definitely!

For only 1 colorless mana, you can have a changeling creature with Mutavault! How awesome! It helps making your creature type tricks work! Congratulations! Definitely a fan favorite in Lorwyn Block. Might even see play in Standard seeing how 1 mana for a 2/2 animated creature is decent too.

Next up, a rare Land. We all know Elementals in Lorwyn are very selective in their mana usage. We can all see from Smokebraider. The elemental land, does the same. Behold Primal Beyond

This land is only good if you're playing Elementals. Similar to Pillar of Paruns back in the Ravnica days.

We all knew about the lands before this for other races such as Secluded Glenn for Faeries and Auntie's Hovel for Goblins. Rustic Clachan is a Kithkin land. Strangely, it does not have the ability to produce both White and Green mana. Instead it has the ability Reinforce. Pretty average for a rare. But considering Kithkins are all weenies and wanna hit fast, I guess it's not a bad card in Constructed where if you draw this late game and you can give those weenies of yours some boost.
