Love Guru Movie Review

Aight, this is one of the last press screening that I was be able to attend for awhile as I've a lot of work to catch up with next month. Lucky me, the movie was super hilarious as it was Mike Myers' Love Guru. In case the name Mike Meyers doesn't bring much of an idea, just think Austin Powers.

This time, Mike Myers is The Love Guru~. As Guru Pitka, he is on a mission to spread the message of love, be it self love or to love others. This movie is packed with big names like Jessica Alba, playing one of the lead actress in the movie as Jane Bullard, a rich girl whose daddy bought over the Toronto Maple Leaves Hockey team. Jane is somewhat involved in a romantic sizzle with Guru Pitka as the movie goes deeper later. She's no doubt captivating, especially when she undertook the scene of Indian dance in the movie.

Ben Kingsley plays Guru Pitka's master, Guru Tugginmypuddha. Yes I know the movie has a lot of puns just like Austin Powers' (Ivana Humpalot, Fook Yu, Fook Mi & etc). Back to Kingsley, he was awarded an Oscar for his portrayal of the great Indian philosopher and activist Mahatma Gandhi. But this time, he's playing a funnier role, a cross-eye guru who hands out chastity belts.

Next, an actor I myself failed to spot till the very end of the movie. Justin Timberlake. Yes, you can try scrolling up to see the first picture in this blog post. He's in there. No shit. Justin Timberlake starred as "Le Coq" (Coq is pronounced as Cock) who is seductive, charismatic, in love with chick-flicks and Celine Dion's tunes. He's sort of bad guy in the movie, but a funny one, I must say. With his mustache and curly hairdo, I honestly couldn't recognize him at all.

The wheels of popular peeps kept rolling as even Mini Me is brought into the picture. Verne Troyer (his real name) played Coach for the Toronto Maple Leaves Hockey team as Coach Cherkov. He is no doubt comical and funny due to his size.

Okay, a quick cap of the storyline. Guru Pitka is the world's second best guru, right behind Deepak Chopra. He wants to be the next Deepak Chopra and thus, being on Oprah's show is definitely going to help his popularity. Along came a request from a Canadian hockey team to solve a relationship problem between its star player and Guru Pitka took the opportunity by hand to show what he is capable of doing.

Romany Malco played the role of Darren Roanoke, the star player of Toronto Maple Leaves who is seriously affected by his ex-wife current relationship with Le Coq (Justin Timberlake) which is a goalie for another rival team. Guru Pitka is entasked to fix his relationship with his wife in order to break the Bullard Curse that has been haunting the team from winning the Stanley's Cup after the Bullard family bought over the team.

Will Guru Pitka succeed? Of course he will. It's a happy ending movie. It wouldn't be fun if it doesn't end happily. And you will be entertained with all the humor that you enjoyed from Mike Myers' Austin Powers as well. And do expect a lot of sexually suggestive puns and phrases in the movie. ;)

I personally enjoyed the movie a lot. Though it wasn't as good as Austin Powers, but it is definitely worthwhile for the laugh. Well done Mike for tickling my funny bones.

P.S. So many press screenings, but how come there are so few Nuffnangers who want to watch and review them? Free movies and blog ideas also not interested ah? =.="

Nuffnang Rocks

It's undeniable that Nuffnang is a bloody good company to work for. I mean come on, canggih office with great colleagues. Not to mention that our working hours are flexible and based on priority of tasks. Even NST did an interview to cover our working culture the last Saturday. You should definitely click on the link cause you'll get to see Yee Hou waiting to get laid picture in there.

Most of you already knew Yee Hou, my colleague who I always think is more gay than me (stereotypically). Have you met our newest staff, Pinky (I know, you started having Pinky and the Brain song playing in your head now)? She just joined Nuffnang this month actually. And it's been so long since Nuffnang KL has a girl in the office that Tim personally think she probably saved everyone (except me) from turning gay by hiring her. Well, good call Tim, she's a beautiful lass after all. I guess my colleagues won't turn gay after all. Lol.

Well, when she first joined, we all thought that we need to behave ourselves and not do anything too sexually suggestive anymore. Well, when you put all young lads together in the office, most of the time the jokes come out not exactly very clean. Same thing happened to me as Tim was so afraid of making gay jokes when I first joined. Lol.

But somehow.. Pinky proved us wrong. I mean sure, it's normal for Yee Hou to do something sexually suggestive. I mean, he does it all the times.

But, I really didn't see anything coming from a pretty girl like Pinky. She has no problem camwhoring with Yee Hou with wild themes and ideas. Take a look at the photo below and see who's the dominant one. Lol.

Okay, I know that the picture above is mild compared to what I've shown you guys in the past. How about I show you something better? Something more sexually suggestive perhaps? Okay, I have a code of conduct in my blog which is not to display any naked photos (topless for guys and lingerie are the thresholds). Thus, you do not have to worry about getting yourself wet.

I strongly suggest that you prepare yourself emotionally for this picture.

Are you sure you want to see it?

I mean, it's something different, but could be shocking to unprepared souls.

Alright fine. I'll show it to you. Maybe just a few more scrolls?

Picture Removed Due to No Particular Reason

Yes, Yee Hou is totally enjoying it in the picture. XD

Okay, jokes aside. The pictures taken are only meant for fun when we have free time. Yee Hou and Pinky are not as crazy and wild as you guys think, kay? In fact, Yee Hou is probably gonna win a Nobel Prize soon with his secret invention while Pinky aspires to be the next Mother Theressa to save the world from cruelty and despair. (Shit, I should just quit and be a penglipur lara with my skills)

What I really mean to say is, working in Nuffnang office totally kicks ass. It is fun when all your colleagues are cool dudes and lass who joke around all day long despite the hectic workload you have to attend. Not to mention we have 1 hell of a boss as well. In short, Nuffnang really rocks!

P.S. Nuffnang Sharing Session at Italiannies, One Utama was really really great. Sneak peek below. Here's me at the registration table to greet bloggers with the warmest smile. ^_^

10 Reasons Why Gay Marriage is Wrong

I personally don't think that the paper of the ceremony of marriage is important to people who love each other. Perhaps it will help when it comes to transfer of properties in case of accidents but I doubt it makes much difference in terms of relationship matters if it's strong at the first place. At any rate, here are some reasons objecting to gay marriage I find really amusing with extra sarcasms.

1. Being gay is not natural. Human always reject unnatural things like eyeglasses, polyester and air conditioning.

2. Gay marriage will encourage people to be gay, in the same way that hanging around tall people will make you tall.

I don't see his manager gets any taller

3. Legalizing gay marriage will open the door to all kinds of crazy behavior. People may even wish to marry their pets because a dog has legal standing and can sign a marriage contract.

4. Straight marriage has been around a long time and hasn't changed at all; women are still property, blacks still can't marry whites, and divorce is still illegal.

5. Straight marriage will be less meaningful if gay marriage were allowed; the sanctity of Britney Spears' 55-hour just-for-fun marriage would be destroyed.

britney bride
Yeah! Marriage is for sacred peep like Britney ain't it? Lol

6. Straight marriages are valid because they produce children. Gay couples, infertile couples, and old people shouldn't be allowed to marry because our orphanages aren't full yet, and the world needs more children.

7. Obviously gay parents will raise gay children, since straight parents only raise straight children.

8. Gay marriage is not supported by religion. In a theocracy like ours, the values of one religion are imposed on the entire country. That's why we have only one religion in Malaysia.

Seriously, I just put this picture in for fun :D

9. Children can never succeed without a male and a female role model at home. That's why we as a society expressly forbid single parents to raise children.

10. Gay marriage will change the foundation of society; we could never adapt to new social norms. Just like we haven't adapted to cars, the service -sector economy, or longer life spans.

Adaption is really difficult. Not many people uses handphone 10 years ago. Try finding 1 person in KL without 1 please?

P.S. If you want to read about cyber sex, I really suggest that you read this.

P.P.S. A million thanks to my pal, Leo for designing my new blog banner. ^_^

Death Race

Courtesy of United International Pictures, I was invited for a Press Screening today for the movie Death Race. When I first heard of it, I thought it was a horror movie. But I was wrong when I saw the poster.

Death Race Banner

1 look at the poster told me it's a racing movie. Straight away, Fast and Furious comes into my mind. But I went through some information from the Internet and found out more about it. Practically those information tells me the movie has the following;
  • Fast cars
  • Violence
  • Hot girl
Total dick flick if you ask me. Guys would definitely enjoy this movie. Of course, it literally means the macho ones like me. *whacks his chest like Stewie*

Unlike other racing movies, this one has heavy violence incorporated as it is a race between prisoners with life sentence. They are to eliminate each other so they can win the race and secure a chance to walk free again. That literally means, killing is a norm. Just have a look at their cars and you'll know what I'm talking about.

The movie is very much about 1 person which is Jason Statham who played Ames, who was framed and sent to the prison. He was then approached by the prison's warden to participate in the Death Race.

Here's an excerpt from their production notes.

The world’s hunger for extreme sports and reality competitions has grown into reality TV bloodlust. Now, the most extreme racing competition has emerged and its contestants are murderous prisoners. Tricked-out cars, caged thugs and smoking-hot navigators combine to create a juggernaut series with bigger ratings than the Super Bowl. The rules of the Death Race are simple: Win five events, and you’re set free. Lose and you’re road kill splashed across the Internet.

International action star JASON STATHAM (the Transporter series, The Bank Job) leads the action-thriller’s cast as three-time speedway champion Jensen Ames, an ex-con framed for a gruesome murder. Forced to don the mask of the mythical driver Frankenstein, a Death Race crowd favorite who seems impossible to kill, Ames is given an easy choice by Terminal Island’s ruthless Warden Hennessey (JOAN ALLEN of The Bourne Supremacy and The Bourne Ultimatum): Suit up and drive or never see his little girl again.

His face hidden by a hideous mask, one convict will enter an insane three-day challenge in order to gain freedom. But to claim the prize, Ames must survive a gauntlet of the most vicious criminals—including nemesis Machine Gun Joe (TYRESE GIBSON of Transformers, 2 Fast 2 Furious)—in the country’s toughest prison. Trained by his coach (IAN MCSHANE of Deadwood, The Golden Compass) to drive a monster Mustang V8 Fastback outfitted with 2 mounted mini-guns, flamethrowers and napalm, an innocent man will destroy everything in his path to win the most twisted spectator sport on Earth.

Yup, cars with guns, flamethrower and etc.

Oh did I mention there's this girl which is really hot with big boobs as well?

Her name is Natalie Martinez. Look her up for more hot sizzling pictures of her if you want.

A must watch if you're a fan of violence and car racing. Lol.

P.S. Jason Statham is really built. I really wish I have his body. :(

Scoring 3 Goals

This post contains autoplay music. I know it's annoying, but I can't help contain my own excitement

Yes my dear friends.

I scored 3 goals this week.

I feel like taking off my shirt ady

Okay, the guy above ain't exactly what I have in mind when I talk about taking off shirt. Maybe something like this?

Okay, back to my topic. Stop drooling yea, girls and gays.

My roles in Nuffnang are to address the concerns of bloggers under our network, plan and bring up community events to get our blogging community closer and have much more fun under our roof. That being said, I am responsible for most Nuffnang blog posts, events, general email sending, movie screenings and even Helpdesk itself.

How I Got RM40k Debt..

It's one personal post to me. If you hate me, don't bother reading.

Anyone want to take a guess? No, I did not buy a car. I did not go gambling. I did not invest on any shares. And I certainly did not get married in Canada.

gay marriage
I personally don't believe in ceremonial marriages.
Why do we need a piece of paper to hold two person together? *shrugs*

But, the thing that I did was not to be taken lightly either especially for my younger readers (I know I sound old, but I do reckon that I'm old). I quited a Petronas Sponsorship studies in UTP and ended up with RM40k debt.

How I wish I have lots of these right now to pay them off in an instant

I was an SPM graduate back in the year of 2003. Was shaking my legs during the school holidays when I suddenly got a letter for interview for the Petronas scholarship (or so they claimed at first). I went to their camp, and I guess my aggressive nature convinced them that I am a fighter and capable person in nature and thus, I was given a chance to study with the funds from Petronas, the richest Malaysian company in Malaysia.

When I got my offer letter, I was thrilled. No more do I have to worry in going Form 6 (I admit, I was a chicken despite being a straight A student in SPM) as my family was not well enough to send me to private college (some miscommunication about TAR College back then as well, so it wasn't an option that we looked at). The location of my studies is UTP (Universiti Teknologi Petronas) in Tronoh which is 45 minutes driving time from Ipoh. That being said, it is an extremely ulu place with little civilization (Ipoh is considered very boring to many others, but for UTPians, it's a heaven as it's the closest).

The facilities are state of the art.
You would seriously not expect that such superior building is in such a remote place!

I got offered a Chemical Engineering Degree. 5 years duration and they even state the amount of the fee and allowance (RM500 a month in Tronoh and weekend in Ipoh is enough actually) would add up to RM100k upon completion. Then, we noted the word 'Petronas Convertible Loan' which literally means it could be a scholarship if you perform well, if you don't, it's a loan. And you're supposed to answer their call of duty if they select you to be a part of their organization (which is not that bad) for 10 years bond. Refuse it, and you'll have to pay RM100k.

Back then, I was indecisive of what I really want to do in life. I was merely considering how good was I in certain subjects that I was enrolled in and that being said, they were all Science stream subjects. I went with Chemistry as I had a high interest with molecules and atoms and thus agreed to Chemical Engineering which turned out that I was dead wrong! There were nothing chemistry about Chemical Engineering. Anything with the word Engineering in it are all all Physics! Physics! Physics! (maybe except sanitary engineering aka toilet cleaner).

hate physics
I hate Physics. I still do

As life goes on in UTP, I was joining clubs left, right, center such as the Rotaract Club, International Cultural Club and etc. I learned a lot on how to handle meetings, events and people in a small organization/club which sparked my interest greatly in Communications. Till the second year I'm in UTP, I came to my senses and told myself; "This is not what I should do in my life".

I mean, sure I could go on and be a Chemical Engineer for Petronas sent off to Miri or Bintulu just to ensure that nothing goes wrong with their plant and rigs there. But would I really be happy with my life? If you know me well, you know I won't. I'm a person who likes to live life to the fullest. I like to party, enjoy, communicate and socialize. I don't tell lies about myself, I give you truths straight in your face. If I cheated on something and you ask, I'll tell that I've cheated.

I would gladly wear this shirt. Maybe without the cards, cause I rarely touch them

Thus, I told my roommate back then, Mahen that I wanted to quit from UTP. And he was surprised but not unprepared for it as he knew what kind of person I was. I knew the consequences of quiting which is to pay the amount they sponsored me which I was ready to shoulder in the future. And that's where I quited UTP and walked on my own route in the field of Communications.

Brief summary of what I did after I left UTP. Went to TAR College in KL and got myself a scholarship (not loan, thank god). Did a Diploma in Mass Comm specializing in PR as I did not have a STPM cert for a Degree and then I am happily employed by Nuffnang.

Just as I was beginning to taste a happy life that I earn my own living, being to do what I want independently, I've forgotten all about my past debt. Yes, I was so happy working in Nuffnang, living in KL, partying and enjoying my life I thought, "Man, I'm in heaven now. I just wish things don't turn ugly."

A letter from Petronas came to me a few weeks back. They are finally asking me to pay my debt of RM40k after 3 years of my action.

At first I got shocked and it emotionally shook me as everything was perfect before this and now I have to figure out on how to pay RM40k? Gosh. I mean, I knew about it going to come one day, but after all these years, I guess it really slipped for a while.

When I first got the letter, I was pretty stressed..

After getting my emotions calmed, I recognized that this debt is a result of my own actions and I do not want my parents or anyone else to shoulder it. It is a price to pay for my happy life that I am living and thus, I will not run away from it or ask someone else to handle it for me. I am proud of what I did and I would proudly shoulder this debt.

And thus I went ahead to prepare a proposal letter to Petronas to ask for an installment payment plan for 5 years which is the shortest duration I can afford to pay from my salary. Their answer? Yet to be known as their finance department will be corresponding with me soon.

As much as I'm proud of my life, I can't help but to weep as I can no longer have extra savings to bring my mum on flight for a short term. I can no longer give fancy surprises to my loved ones nor will I be able to do many things that I could do usually.

Oh well, this is an experience of a lifetime. Hey you kids out there who are planning to go into UTP, make up your mind yeah? Don't quit halfway. Quit before you go in if you don't like Physics (for Engineering courses) or if you hate remote places with little entertainment.

Now who wants to donate to me as I might need to eat grass for at least a year cause of this loan? Just pay to my PayPal account at pcboy86(at)yahoo(dot)com (I really doubt there's anyone going to do this). I don't mind posing like the model below for you if you really support me for a month.

I'm kidding! Zach would kill me if I do

My First Trip to Kota Kinabalu

Thanks to the Sabahan Bloggers Gathering and me working in Nuffnang, I got to fly for the first time in my life.

It's been long due blog post as it practically happened like 2 weeks ago but I just have time to blog about it today due to my busy work and personal life. I apologize for the delay.

It's been awhile since Zach and I has been traveling or been to anywhere that would require us to stay in a hotel. The last was during our anniversary where we went Genting where we had a bath tub to utilize to bath (and you figure out what else). So for this one, we were kinda expecting a bath tub there, but :( nope, there wasn't any.

Irregardless, it was no excuse not to camwhore in the hotel room. Well, Zach had the most fun doing that as I was really trying to get some rest.

Okay fine, I joined in and we did something silly as well for a picture.

When the time of the gathering drew near, we proceeded to Imperial Hotel's function room where the gathering was held. There, we were greeted by the organizing committees who were busy registering bloggers who are attending the gathering.

Meet Fara and Jacq!

As I'm representing Nuffnang, of course, I had to wear a lil' proper to indicate corporate responsibility and thus I went with a coat but with T-shirt and jeans to strike the balance between formal and casual.

Fuck, I look fat!

The interior of Imperial Hotel was not shabby at all. As it was a dinner gathering, there were tables with chairs in the whole area and they were all nicely decorated with table cloths and dead branches.

I can't help but to take a bite at their table cloth as I was famished.

As we arrive quite early and the function room is facing the ocean, we were served with spectacular scenery which Zach enjoyed a lot. I have to admit that it is pretty, but if you'll let me choose, I'll always choose architecture scenery rather than natural scenery. :)

Then I was approached by Daniel Franklin Gomez, one of the key organizer for the Sabahan Bloggers Gathering. And I tell you this guy is hot and friendly! Here's a picture of him.

taking off shirt

Okay, I was lying about the picture (though I really wish I know the guy above in real life). Here's the real picture of him with me.

I'm not lying about the hot and friendly adjectives

All of the sudden, I realized that I was required to give a speech as entasked by Exabyte and representing Nuffnang. Though I'm not exactly scared to give one spontaneously, but it is not my call to be free flow or not as I have a company's image to uphold. Thus I asked Zach to help me draft out my speech as my writing sux to the max.

As the bloggers starting to show in big numbers, the gathering soon started.

I was then invited to give a word or two representing both Exabytes and Nuffnang which I did with great honor.

Carrying a note while giving a speech is not cool. I oughta remember that the next time I give a public speech

Overall, the gathering was really fun as people do get to mingle around but in a more subtle and gentle way compared to what I did for Nuffnang Wild 'Live' Blogging but nevertheless, it was cool as there were lots of nice performances by people who blow really well.

And when I say blow, they can really blow certain things big~~~

We were also thrilled to have met Blue who has been very friendly to both my and Zach for quite a while. Her company for the night was no doubt warm and nice. :D

Being to Kota Kinabalu for Sabahan Bloggers Gathering was an experience I cannot forget. I am ever thankful for my company Nuffnang for this opportunity and honored to be a part of it as well. I vow to give more to the Nuffnang community by bringing more exciting events and surprises!

I kinda like this scenery :)

P.S. Nuffnangers, you're really in for a treat next month. Stay tune to Nuffnang's blog for surprises next week.

P.P.S. I was surprised that Good big things do come in small packages. And by small I mean young. Lol. You get what I mean. ;)

My Favorite Computer Game of All Time

It's pretty obvious that I dig entertainment a lot. When I was small, all I care about is gratifying myself with entertainment, especially games. I performed well in studies to look forward for better consoles from my parents and relatives. Funny ain't it?

I got my first video game which was Micro Genius when I scored first position in Second Grade. Man, did I not regret that I was clever. Lol.

Man, these are freaking ancient wei!

Back then, Super Mario was a hit, big time!

As time passed, I played various of new games in Micro Genius console. My parents couldn't get me other consoles as they were too expensive for the family to purchase at that time till my parents got the family a computer after my excellent education performance once again during UPSR.

That's when the real fun begins. ;)

I was introduced to my favorite computer game of all time.

It is undeniably the best game that I've every played and it's because I love Real Time Strategy, a lot! Of course, the minimum micro managing made it even better than Warcraft 3 as I just can't micro manage as well with that many abilities all at once.

It's basically a futuristic game where humans encountered 2 different alien species while exploring the universe. And boy oh boy did the battle grew big as time progressed. For those who have no idea, think Alien vs Predator.

Humans, known as the faction Terran, came from Earth with their technology such as guns, rifles, nuclear bombs, huge ass battlecruisers and other war machines are in outer space to claim new territories till they encountered an alien bug like race called Zerg.

They tried to domesticate the alien race in a specific planet, but to no avail. Then out of the sudden, another mysterious alien race called Protoss destroyed Terran's domestication plan when they simply blew up the entire planet. These Protoss yield psionic abilities and warping technologies which of course, made it seemed like Predator.

I'm really lazy to talk about storyline, so if you want to know more about the story, click here.

Obviously my favorite race is the mysterious and organic race that can survive outer space without technologies, Zerg. It is practically what every Chinese would want, cheap, nice and good value for money (pheng, leng, zheng)

Its units are the cheapest in terms of cost in the game compared to other races, they look stunningly beautiful (actually vile) and they are definitely good value for money. Just pump on the numbers of 1 particular unit and you'll see what I mean.

Try Zergling for example in a flat map with no rivers and cliffs and you'll definitely buy my approach.

This idea of course applies to my favorite versatile Hydralisk as well who shoots spines out of its back. They can strike both ground and air units.

However, I must say that the other 2 factions have deadly units as well in their arsenal. Terran's best unit would definitely be its Siege Tank in my opinion.

6 of these heavyweights in siege mode and they can practically lay everything to waste in no time providing it has melee support in case of incoming hostile troops. They do splash damage and could definitely hurt a large amount of Zergs. :(

Protoss have Carriers which are their huge as spaceship but with no testicle. Cause they don't have guns. Instead, they sent out smaller ships called interceptors which has huge balls but small body (low hp) to do the fighting. It's quite cool when 18 Carriers cowardly stayed still at one side while their small balls (8 for 1 Carrier, that makes 144 small ships with huge balls out fighting for their ball-less captains) fight enemy.

Nothing to be worried about seriously. The thing that hurts Zerg the most from Protoss is Psionic Storm! It last about 3 seconds in 1 area and practically if used in a strategic place, that would spell death for at least 20 zerglings or 10 hydralisks easily. :(

It's really a fun game as there are always advantages and disadvantages against each faction and really depends on how you time your building strategies.

That's why, my favorite game of all time is definitely, Starcraft!

Can't wait for Starcraft 2 to be out as well!

What's your favorite computer game?

P.S. I'm gay so this doesn't really make sense. But among all the blog post I've seen out there saying their favorite games, how come I don't see one honest person admitting that their favorite game is Ganguro Girl?

ganguro girl

P.P.S. It's a dating game for straight guys attempting to get a cartoon girl to have sex with.
