Robb's New Phone by Nokia

Being a blogger has its perks.

If you wonder what kind of perks I'm talking about, let's just say it's really a nice mobile device that you'll want to have as well. ;)

I dropped back Text100's office this morning to collect my precious new phone thanks to Nokia Malaysia. This is all thanks to you guys who read my blog daily and also, I have to thanked my boss, Tim for hiring me. I mean, being a front person for Nuffnang entices me to a lot of public events and launches be it Nuffnang's or clients'. Seeing that most people will be paying attention to what kind of devices that people like me use, Nokia Malaysia and Text 100 figured that it is a good idea to supply me a cool phone for me to use (since my LG Viewty is getting a little rusty) and in the same time, subtle marketing for the product. :)

Here's me getting all excited in the lift after collecting the phone from the office.

Probably the last time I'm using my LG Viewty to take pictures

I'm now an official Nokia blogger!!!

So what is in the Nokia bag? Any guesses?

Of course it's a phone. But what phone is it? Any guesses?

It's the latest launched...

Nokia 5800 XpressMusic phone!!!!

Yes, it's the damn good touchscreen Nokia phone, the hottest in the current market! Everyone was wondering when will Nokia launch a touchscreen phone when others are all over doing touchscreen phones. Admit it, Nokia's phones are the most user friendly compared with other manufacturers. Operating Nokia phones are easy as ABC while some other manufacturers requires extensive study from the manual to actually use them. Finally, the call has been heeded by Nokia and they've came up with Nokia 5800 XpressMusic! Hurrah!!

Retailed at RM1499, it comes with an 8GB memory card along with 1000 free original songs for you to download! 1000 songs of your choice! That's so going to make you trip your head over and over again listening to your favorite songs from contemporary R&B till the Pop of the 90s!

Slightly smaller in size compared to my previous LG Viewty, this baby is a powerhouse for music playing. I mean, come on. XpressMusic phone? Lol.

At the moment, I've yet to explore all the functions of the phone yet, but rest assure I'll share my take on the phone once I get familiar with all the cool features the phone has. ;)

Grateful to Nokia Malaysia & Text 100
Robb

I just got my Nokia N96 last year October. Nice with lots of functions and I loved every bits of it, but it's expensive, retailing at about RM3300 at that time. Don't know about the retail price now. Maybe drop already kah?
