On the Prowl
Yes, I'm on the prowl looking for new targets. Targets like the below. Slurps!!

Actually, I've always been doing that, so that's not something new. Lol.
I'm looking into the future now for property investment. Surprisingly, the first thing I wish to get my hands on is not a car but a house. I ran some figures over and I think I do have what it takes to buy a house providing that I eat bread for the rest of my life.
I'm kidding. I can always rent the house out to others to ease my financial commitment but the deal ain't gonna be as smooth as those twinks out there.
What do you guys think? A guy whose not even 25 thinking to purchase a house. Is it a good idea or a bad idea?
-------------------------------
Tomorrow, I'll be prowling to Malacca for their delicacies such as satay celup, nyonya dishes, chicken rice ball and of course durian. Yummy!!
I wonder if there are 'extra' delicacies for me at night. Lol. I did some check on the Internet and found that the fab life in Malacca is as bad as Ipoh, which means, lots of uncles and no cuties. However, I also read that weekends tend to attract the Singapore crowd and the last I checked, Singapore does have a fair amount of fabulous people. Lol.
I'll let you know if I have anything yummy.

Doubt such quality would appear, but let's cross our fingers, shall we?
----------------------------------
I've been pampering myself a lot lately. Got myself a new affordable wallet from DKNY, bought a nice sweater, ate a nice meal at Chili's,have a few shag here and there, and etc. Basically, I'm upgrading my life little by little.
And let me reveal something very unsexy about myself. I didn't care for underpants and socks. I wore cheap underpants and socks from god knows where (pasar malam most likely, *shrugs*) ever since I was young till recently that I started to shop for something more.. presentable. Lol.
I think I fell in love with mini trunks underpants. Like the one this guy is wearing below.

Please tell me some of you are like me previously, someone who didn't care about how his underpants look to others? Lol.
-----------------------------
I feel like my social life is a bit limited due to the fact that I don't enjoy sports. True enough I'm considered healthy due to my gym sessions, but gym routine are somewhat a loner activity. It's not the same as playing rugby (ahh, guys piling on each other, lol!), futsal, badminton, tennis and others where you get to socialize with others.

Hmm.. seriously considering rugby if all of em are to look like this one here.
I'm thinking of starting to play sports. But what could be the right one for me? Do take note that I stay in Setapak and I don't drive.
Any recommendations, peeps?
I can't swim by the way. :(
-----------------------------
Well, that's the wrap as I'm going to Malacca the first thing in the morning tomorrow. Do surprise me with your comments if you can as I'll be anxious to read it once I get back. ;)
Cheers
Robb

12 xtra squirt(s):
i think i already told you that malacca is full with old uncles...
in my opinion better buy a house than car because:
1:car requires more maintenance than house.
2:it's easier to rent a house than car.
it's a good idea for you to buy a house PROVIDED your financial is stable now.
If you want to invest better invest in gold since stocks and fiat $ is not stable.Hew Wee Lim is good in these financial things..he's a 1st class BBA student in MMU.
this is my opinion only..it's up to you to follow or not..i'm not liable to any consequences^^
p/s at jonker street there's a plu sauna^^

oh about buying a house.. i wish to buy a house too, but cannot laaa.. =P
kenwooi.com
the younger you are when you bought your first house, the better it is, cos down the road, you may want to get a second house, and the third.. and so on and so forth.. age is a factor in getting loans..
fyi, i bought my first house when i was just 20..
WOw! Takashi bought 1st house at 20?? wah liao..
But, I guess if you think you are stable enough, you can go ahead...must make sure you are comfortable with the payment every month for the rest of your life ..ooppsss at leact more than half of your life.. =__="
they certainly looks juicy, but ummm, i prefer a bod without too many muscles or biceps or island or whatever they call it. some fat would be nice..
have a safe trip there..
learn to swim then!!!! you can go anywhere with it!!! actually see if you like racquet games or physical games because most of them are different by themselves. Anyway, good luck in finding and thanks for the "meal".. *slurp*

heloz... so young alreayd plan for property investment arrh. good 4 u.
bout property investment u really got to plan it out, cos getting a mortgage involve u at least 20-30 years commitment whether u like it or not. other than that it involves some time to research on buying a right property.
u really gotto plan it out cos to save money for 10% downpayment is easy but the installment gonna eat at least 30-40% of your income for a long period of time(but i dunno how much u make, heh)
some of my clients especially young age like you who had work a couple of years and decided to 'buy something big' eg car house, hopefuly to own a property at very young age. This is pretty normal and also encourage by our parents/elderly whom their era, one of the most 'steady' investment is property.
but because the commitment of having a property loan is too much to bear, u may lose out many opportunities (say investment or opportunity to start up own biz (i also know nuffnang may pay u well *winks*))
if u wish to expand ur investment portfolio, esp. young age, start with something more liquid first... i believe u are already focusing more on how to make your money work for money and let ur networth grow.
dont let urself tie down with too many commitment.
talk to more people, ask those who already has a mortgage loan, research and planning are things you cant missed during this process. if you want more ideas, feel free to email me.
good luck, Robb!
OMG..The last picture there is Andy On and he is hot hot hot...
It's a great idea, best thing you can do right now is buy a house.
Especially if you're looking at Condos, Condo prices have dropped dramatically in the last 12 months.
Landed property is still retaining its price fairly well.
A house is ALWAYS a solid investment, especially at times like this when the market is soft.
It's a time for buyers to prosper.
If you can manage without a car, do it. It costs a lot, people don't factor in the petrol, toll, parking, road tax, insurance, regular services, tyres and the odd repair.
If you can't handle the mortgage payments you can always rent out a room or 2 to cover your back.
Getting a property at your age is your first step to financial freedom.
It's a big step though and make sure you can afford it.
You need 15% up front (10% down nd 5% for S+P, lawyers fees etc).
Then you need money for furniture/air cons/washing machine/kitchen cabinets/fridge, bedroom set and so on.
Make sure you got the money, or you can manage with what you have now.
